About me

I'm Watchara Noisriphan — a data scientist who loves turning AI into something people can actually use.

I studied Computer Science at Kasetsart University and graduated with First Class Honors. During my studies I worked as an AI research intern at Tamkang University in Taiwan, using pose estimation, FFT and clustering to analyse rowing athletes — work that became a paper at ICNCC '23.

Since then I have built AI and data systems that run in production: OCR licence-plate recognition, KYC face comparison, RAG chatbots over company data, fraud detection, LLM gateways and data warehouses. At one company I cut server CPU usage by up to 90% and helped prevent potential data loss of over 1 million THB.

During the 2026 floods I built a Thai handwriting OCR system in a temple car park in about two hours, so volunteers could reunite 8,401 cars with their owners. It reminded me that the best AI is the kind that quietly does real work.

Along the way I learned that the biggest gap isn't technology — it's that most people don't know how to use it. That's why I started AI Paruay (AI พารวย): to teach people in Thailand to build their own AI employees, in plain language.

What I believe

Useful over impressive

AI should save time or make money — otherwise it's a demo.

Plain language

If I can't explain it simply, I don't understand it well enough.

Share what works

I teach the same tools and workflows I use myself.
